ORLANDO

So we decided to take another adventure whilst in Miami, drive to Orlando to go to the greatest place on earth ! Yes u guessed it Harry potter world, oh and universal studios! We started the journey by hiring a car from a semi-English speaking amigo who kept writing sam's name as 'same coole'! So mr coole, myself, Nath and sar took of ( with some speed mind you as we were used to driving the 30foot beast rv) and discovered the joys of a good turning circle on a small car when we go the wrong way! We arrrived at universal studios at around midday and headed straight to the islands of adventure were the wizarding world of Harry potter is....I unshamefully led the way with a lot of Harry potter enthusiasm...the world was amazing, every worker was in outfit and character, as you walk into the park you are greeted by the hogwarts express controller for a photo in front of the hogwarts express! We had lunch in the three broomsticks, just next door to the hogs head, drank some ice cold butterbeer( very delicious just like a spider), and then headed for the hippogriff ride! Next it was a browse through some shops and a lot of purchasing from places such as; the owl post, devish and bangs, zonkos, finchs emporium. We took a ride around the castle on a very cool rollercoaster/ simulation ride that takes you through hogwarts castle whilst being chased by a dragon, playing a quidditch game, getting hunted by a dementor, and nearly getting belted by the whomping willow!...so after much distress on my behalf we left Harry potter world and decided to enter some of the other lands....we decided that Jurassic park land was next with this time with a lot of enthusiasm by nathan! We walked through the exploratorium and saw dinosaur eggs waiting to be hatched, took some cool photos with the t-Rex...and then headed for the Jurassic park river adventure! Possibly one of the coolest rides, scared the shit out of us with a huge t-Rex followed by a 80 feet drop into water! Needless to say we were drenched which was great since it was boiling hot! Funniest photo sarah and myself with our hands covering our faces! The boys had their adrenallan pumping and of we went to the hulk roller-coaster, a lot of upside down moments which did not tickle mine n Sarah's fancy, so we let the boys go ahead, needles to say they came out smiling and wanting to go again! Big thunderstorms came rolling into Orlando and the rides started to close , it was about 5.30 and we decided to get a hotel...got a good room at the holiday inn, after dinner at TGI Fridays ( yeh we went there! N it was just like it was a Friday!) we retired to bed exhausted ready for another action packed day. 
Day 2 was universal studios, which has amazing special effects on rides and everything from your favorite movies...the boys hit the Hollywood rip rocket roller coaster, another huge roller-coaster that again they came out smiling and wanting more....we then headed to the mummy ride, I decided to do this one with the boys! Whilst waiting in the line I was already scared of all the creepy things in the tomb...the boys found this hilarious! So I made them let me sit in the middle...yep I shit myself there were mummies jumping out at you and we were going backwards, forwards and in circles! The boys came out with grip marks on their hands from where I squeezed them so hard!! We also hit up the Simpsons simulation ride, very cool graphics once again...we checked out the ET area and saw some really cool ET dolls, you could get your photo taken with the ET on the bike! Next it was of to the dragon challenge another Harry potter ride, which the boys tried to hide from me that it had the most G force out of all the rides in the park! Thank god for the girl code because Sarah filled me in on this, but I was still pumping myself up to go on it as I was a true Harry potter fan! When we started to go through the line is when I started to freak out watching the ride go upside down with your feet hanging there!! The boys started to drag me along but I wasn't budging, the ride attendant sweetened the deal by putting us into the express lane if I agreed to ride, the boys were stoked so I said yes!! As I was buckled into the seat, told to sit on my thongs, n had a extra seat belt put on me compared to everyone else I just kept repeating very loudly ' this is going to be super fun, so much fun' I made the boys say this with me! Needless to say I was scared shitless once again, Nathan looked over at one point to see if I had fainted as I was so quiet but then I started to scream, and scream and scream! But in the end it was very awesome!! All four of us hit up the Hogwarts castle one more time and it was just as good! We have to say we were very impressed with the crowd control and how quickly lines went, amazing organisation! We were exhausted after another action packed day and decided to start the drive back to Miami, everyone slightly burnt, sweaty and with lots of purchases in hand! All in all , very awesome two days!
